Open Studio Sessions
Enter the studio to explore new music with Joey and be part of the creative process. Open exclusively to subscribers, this live Zoom session allows you to peak behind the curtain and watch as Joey unveils new melodies, works on developing songs, invents new ways of playing established melodies and welcomes your feedback.
During his Open Studio Sessions, Joey does not perform polished material to a passive audience. Instead, he works on new material in real time (and occasionally dusts off deep cuts) with a participatory virtual community. Take part in the creative process! The first season of Open Studio Sessions began toward the end of 2020 and culminated in the publicly broadcast recording of Joey's album, L'eila, in the summer of 2021. You can be among the first people to hear another collection of new melodies, like the one below, while sharing your feedback and watching Joey make mistakes.
